Hey there, hope yr well! Listen—it’s SLUSH, SAM HOFFMAN, and PRESSURE HEAVEN tonight at the illustrious SOFT JUNK. SLUSH just put out another fantastic EP titled #3 via TOGO RECORDS. There’s a special quality about any band’s third project: Big Star’s Third is some of their best, and we all know A Hard Day’s Night has some of the best Beatles songs. SLUSH is no exception to this: Maxwell’s latest sonic foray is beautiful. SAM HOFFMAN is the local hitmaker in town who hasn’t missed yet—dig into BOOKS ON TAPE, Sam’s incredible sophomore LP that was released late last year. PRESSURE HEAVEN has been making waves the past year as well, with three incredible singles under their belt (3!) and a much talked-about live show. I’m gonna pull up tonight after I get off work.
