There’s not a lot of venues where you can see a punk show, a rap show, a hardcore show, or a noise show all in the same week—that’s what sets DRKMTTR apart. They’ve got a very special thing going on. Help DRKMTTR on their way to becoming a non profit at this link right HERE. Here’s a bit more about DRKMTTR:
At Drkmttr, music serves as a universal connector, fostering unity, inspiration, and transformation in people’s lives. As Nashville’s longest running all-ages venue, we’ve thrived as a hub for creative collaboration, championing artistic diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility since our inception. It has been a wild ride since 2015. From basements, to rented out old houses, a barber shop to Dickerson Pike, who would have guessed we would be lucky enough to continue serving our community through diverse and unique live music and events. We’re so excited to continue working on our expanded mission through the new Drkmttr 501c3.
Making the transition while running a currently operating business has been lengthy and involved but we are in the home stretch! While we await our non-profit status approval, we’re faced with critical expenses that require immediate attention. Your support will help us cover essential costs and make sure that our work continues uninterrupted. Whether it’s supporting talented artists, subsidizing ticket prices, or providing free space for community use, every dollar you contribute will make a difference.
We’re thrilled to share that MVAN (Music Venue Alliance Nashville) has pledged $5,000 to kick off our fundraiser, moving us much closer to achieving our ultimate goal of $15,000! Help us get there!
Together, we can sustain Drkmttr Collective’s invaluable role in Nashville’s cultural landscape. Join us in our mission to amplify deserving voices, inspire dreamers, and ensure that we can thrive, grow and keep our doors open for generations to come.
